Even Hollywood Is Not Immune To The Power Of Social Media Influence
Excerpt: "...studios are tapping social media-savvy talent in order to better target hashtagging viewers. ...“It is now part of those casting conversations, not only from a film perspective but for branding deals.” people like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie—there’s a whole list of them, people who publicly denounce social media . . . R.I.P. Skye McCole Bartusiak
I was kind of astonished when I read the news of her death in Texas this past Saturday July 19, 2014...
- ☛ R.I.P: Skye McCole Bartusiak - I met her briefly back in June 2000 (w/ her mom Helen) when they were in NYC promoting 'The Patriot', in fact Skye's mom introduced themselves to us and actually had professional color acting head shots "promo cards" w/ her and asked me and another photog. if we wanted autographs, and well how could we say no to a 7 year old little girl? It was too cute Skye was so excited and took that marker with incredible enthusiasm and joy! Obviously though the "signature" was what can be expected from a 7 year old, solid block print letters being that she had not learned cursive script yet = too cute! My sincerest condolences to the Bartusiak family and may Skye rest in peace her light will shine on in the hearts of those who were touched by her joyous spirit... ☯
